Museum shopping #02: National Galleries of Scotland 08/02/17

Quick update: I am too ill to post in the usual way today, so I hope you enjoy this one that I prepared earlier in the best Blue Peter fashion.

Wow! The National Galleries of Scotland shop is not one to miss. The scarf collection is extraordinary and gorgeous. I have put a selection in the first collage below.

Please note that I prepare these collages some time in advance and so all of these items may not be in stock on the day you visit.

The shop also stocks lovely jewellery and other pretty items. Have a look at collage #02 below. There is also a sweet kingfisher pendant as well as this robin! 💕💕

Edited to add: I have just noticed a book in the shop called “How to tie a scarf” (no author mentioned). This is what the museum shop website has to say:

This pocket gift book presents inspiring ways to wear scarves in all seasons serves with practical 33 step-by-step guide to styling square, oblong, embellished, oversized, and skinny scarves in a variety of materials and patterns, plus handy tips for properly storing and caring for your scarves and DIY scarf accessories featuring camera straps, tote bags, necklaces and
more.

It might be worth a look! Hmmm, maybe I will give my lads a hint for Mothering Sunday in March.😌
